Birth of the Ren series

passing on the craftsmanship established by brushmaker Tesshu to the next generation

Under the supervision of brushmaker Tesshyu, the next generation of craftsmen have developed the new, higher quality Ren series of cosmetic brushes using the new material of red fox hair and based on the cosmetic brush making techniques developed by Tesshu that make use of gray squirrel hair.

By blending gray squirrel hair with red fox hair, which is challenging to use in cosmetic brushes despite offering notably smooth tips and excellent firmness compared to other types of fox hair, they achieved brushes that maintain the smoothness and moderate firmness of red fox hair while adding the soft fluffiness of gray squirrel hair for a blissful texture.
