I use this brush for deepening colors, and it also works great for blending the edges between the main colors, creating a smooth gradient toward the outer corner of the eyes. I also own the G-5 weasel hair shadow liner, which creates fine, well-defined lines, so I use them differently depending on whether I want a thicker and softer line.

As someone with wide, narrow monolids, I find the size, hair density, hair length, softness, and powder pickup of this brush to be perfect. While it's technically a shadow liner brush, I use it for my entire eyeshadow routine. The bristles are soft, so there is no irritation or discomfort when used close to the waterline. The wide side is ideal for applying the main color in just one swipe, while the narrow side is perfect for applying deeper shades or drawing lines. It provides a soft finish but is firm enough to build color intensity as desired.
It's reasonably priced and was a great purchase.
